Cam2Cam (C2C) Explained: What It Is and How It Works

Posted on July 8, 2026 by claude

If you’ve spent any time on cam sites you’ve seen the term cam2cam (often shortened to C2C). It’s one of the most popular features in live camming — here’s exactly what it means and how to use it.

What cam2cam means

Cam2cam is a two-way video feature: during a private show, you turn on your own webcam so the performer can see you too. Instead of just watching, you’re sharing the moment, which makes the session feel far more personal and interactive.

How a cam-to-cam session works

You typically start a private show with a performer, then enable the cam2cam option (some sites charge a small extra token rate for it). Your camera feed is shared only with that performer, in that session — not broadcast to a public room.

What you need

Just a working webcam (your laptop or phone camera is fine), a stable connection, and a token balance for the private show. No special software — it runs in your browser. New to tokens? See our tokens and tipping guide.

Etiquette and privacy tips

Cam2cam is optional and consensual on both sides — never pressure a performer.
Be mindful of what’s visible in your background.
Recording private shows is prohibited on reputable platforms and disrespectful to performers.

Is cam2cam right for you?

If you enjoy a more personal, interactive session and you’re comfortable on camera, it’s a natural step up from watching. Browse performers who offer it in our cam girls and couples sections, or explore the c2c tag.
